I am an integrative Pre-Licensed Therapist which knowledge and skills in Health and Social Sciences. This means I take on a holistic approach to treating the whole person. I understand the importance of finding balance of mind, body and spirit during the healing process. An integrative approach allows me to effectively help clients reach optimal functioning and life quality. 


Through discussion and a needs assessment, treatment goals are set to determine the services appropriate for each client. I utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based, energy-based, spirituality-based, and mindfulness-based approaches to meet each client's needs.


I am affirming and supportive of all people and identify with Black and LGBTQIA+ populations. I support teens & adults and now accepting new clients.

 Swiyah joins Journey Wellness & Consulting as a recent graduate with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Swiyah has been a youth and families advocate for over 10 years. Swiyah is also the CEO of her mental health and education advocacy non-profit, STAMP Love.


On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Swiyah supports individuals who are struggling with work-life balance, depression and anxiety, in addition to, those navigating growth after relationship break-ups and  wanting to have a better relationship with their Self.

   I specialize in working with individuals whose trauma results from sexual assault, rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence.  I practice cognitive-behavioral therapy, intersectional cognitive behavioral therapy, and humanistic therapy, while also exploring and pairing alternative therapy methods for your benefit.

 Bryon Russell is a Black LGBTQIA+ spiritual mental health counselor that goes by he/him pronouns. He is currently a Clinical Mental Health Intern with Journey Wellness and Counseling. Bryon is student at Stockton University obtaining his Master’s in clinical mental health counseling to earn my credential as an LPC. His passion is LGBTQIA/gender affirming issues and life purpose/career concerns. With hope that through his expertise and care, he can guide every life that he comes in contact with to be able to independently participate in keeping their mental health well and consistently improved.

His hope is to show individuals that through avid support and education they can live their best lives despite the intersectionality that comes with marginalized groups, especially Black and brown POC. He looks forward to creating blooming counseling relationships with individuals who are ready to live their fully authentic lives and to garner the tools needed to create safe spaces despite some places where their existence may not otherwise be appreciated. Bryon does offer Saturday virtuall hours.
