Erospirituality: Healing The Erotic Self
Erospirituality is the sacred fusion of sexuality and spirituality—eros, a grounding force that roots you in truth and liberates you from “the Defaults” (oppressive societal and sexual norms). Rooted in somatics, spirituality, and sexuality or Erospirituality, Erotic Living, reclaims the erotic self as a daily source of power rather than a shadow of shame. Healing the Erotic Self (HTES) is an erotic liberation ecosystem created to provide a braver space for us to reclaim our erotic wholeness with the affirming healing practices of the Global Majority of Black, African, Caribbean, Indigenous Turtle Islanders, Latine, Asian American, and Pacific Islanders' cultures like breathwork, energy work, eroticism and sacred sexuality. HTES centers the healing justice values like love, consent, accountability, leadership, and safety for not only our sexual healing but also for our spiritual healing.
Rooted in Black erotic healing, this is a sexuality and gender affirming learning and healing space dedicated to reclaiming sexuality, somatics, and spirituality through erotic intelligence, integrative somatic healing, decolonial spirituality with trauma-informed healing practices rooted in the ancestral wisdom of the Global Majority of Black, Caribbean, African, Indigenous Turtle Islanders, Latine, East Asian, South Asian, and Pacific cultures.
At its heart, Erospirituality is the practice of using Eros as our Divine GPS—a compass for our relationship to Spirit/spirit and our life force energy. This work invites us to challenge and dismantle colonially-informed assumptions about sexuality and spirituality. By intentionally decentering, disrupting, deconstructing, and unlearning these limiting frameworks, we open space for decolonization, authentic consent, and embodied liberation.
How are you integrating the wholeness of your mind, body, energy, and spirit into your personal and professional practices?

What is Sexuality & Somatics?
Sexuality and Somatics is JW's Founder, Lena Queen's, approach to healing, post-traumatic growth, and relationship building.Somatics is the intuitive relationship between one’s mind, body, energy, and spirit. Being somatic is being connected to wholeness or one’s WHOLE-Self. Additionally, somatics is a wellness approach that incorporates mind, body, energy, and spirit into daily self-care practices. Sexology is the scientific study of human sexuality, including human sexual interests, behaviors, and functions.
Journey Wellness (JW) offers a WHOLE-Self approach to understanding and experiencing pleasure-affirming sexuality by integrating decolonial trauma-informed somatic practices with sexology. Sexuality and Somatics is a multi-layered decolonial trauma-informed approach to personal healing and professional development that allows space for our capacity as humans to thrive in a late capitalistic society which removes our connection to Self and relationships needed to thrive.
